In der Region um Bad Gastein in Salzburg ist dieser Wintertraum von Film entstanden. Das Jahr 1958 wissen wir aufgrund der Beschriftung der Rolle. Den Ort erfahren wir am Ende des Films, als der Pistenspaß ein übles Ende gefunden hatte und ein “Gipsbein” durch Bad Gastein humpelt. Davor nimmt uns der Film jedoch in einen unbeschwerten Winterurlaub in Österreich mit: Hüttenleben und Skifahren im Stil der 1950er-Jahre.

This winter dream of film originated in the region around Bad Gastein in Salzburg, Austria. We know the year 1958 from the lettering on the scroll. We find out about the location at the end of the film, when the fun on the slopes had come to a bad end and a “leg in plaster” hobbled through Bad Gastein. Before that, however, the film takes us on a carefree winter holiday in Austria: Hut life and Skiing in the style of the 1950s.
